Description

Azalea 'Gulf Pride’ Light Purple Flowering Sawada AzaleaAzalea 'Gulf Pride' Light Purple Blooms Evergreen Azalea Sawada Hybrid Zones 7 10a 'Gulf Pride is a large blooming southern indica azalea with a light purple color. The bloom itself has a darker blotch making a nice up close appeal. Gulf Pride is an excellent selection that was found as a sport off Rhododendron mucronulatum and introduced by Kosaku Sawada, a famous camellia breeder. Sawada left Japan and moved to the United States in the early 1900s

This is a great way to get that cascading effect you want without a graft union

believed that the Kurume azaleas were some of the loveliest of all the azaleas

except this shade plant is deciduous with leaves that turn yellow in the fall before they drop foliage

It has been one of those trees that nearly every customer asks about when they walk in our greenhouses

We expect 'Hana fubuki' to reach 8-10ft in 10 years

'Emerald Falls' may reach 10 ft in height in 10 years
