Description

If You Can Hold On — The Killers Lyric Art PrintLeave the feature wall blank if you like cautious rooms. This one's for people who want a lyric they actually mean on the wall. Hand lettered script reads If You Can Hold On, Hold On, with The Killers set quietly underneath. Hang it in a bedroom above a low headboard, in a study over a writing desk, or down a narrow hallway where you walk past it every day. It works with linen bedding, oak or walnut timber, black metal lamps and plaster walls. Skip it

and the dark backdrop does the heavy lifting underneath

the orange gables warm everything back up

Best at eye level on a single wall rather than buried in a crowded gallery

The walls feel less polite

This one borrows the look of 1960s Japanese travel posters — bold type

and the kitchen suddenly has a point of view rather than just a colour scheme

Anywhere a hot drink or a cold cocktail gets made

The flat colour painting style keeps things calm rather than busy

so the rest of the room can stay calm

A kitchen or dining wall that was reading polite suddenly feels lived-in

The harbour holds the eye — red-hulled boats

Don't crowd it with other portraits or loud florals — give it space and let the blue do its work
