Description

Teeny by Henri Matisse Canvas PrintWhat it adds isn't clutter. It's vertical tension in the right places. The white linework reads from across the room, while the deep, almost black background settles a busy wall and gives the eye somewhere to rest. Hang it where you want a single, confident piece doing the work above a writing desk, in a narrow hallway, or on a quiet wall in the living room. It sits well with oak, walnut, cream linen, boucl and warm brass. Off white and putty walls

It loves a room with one strong colour and otherwise calm surfaces

mindful spaces

The tram glides into the room and brings a quiet city moment with it — soft windows

The curved bands of dots and the loose brush marks give the print its bounce

a kitchen with chrome and gloss

Avoid hanging it near busy gallery walls or saturated graphic prints — this one wants room to breathe

tartan throws and old golf memorabilia

denim and linen

A scattering of cream stoneware doesn't hurt

friendly hit of graphic energy

Avoid putting it next to busy patterned wallpaper or another statement floral

Let one painterly piece do the talking
