Amalfi Coast Flower Market Art PrintBecause Matisse knew restraint, the soft pink hits harder here. The poster lays out an Amalfi flower market in chalky pastels mustard yellow, sage green, warm terracotta and lets the typography frame it like a travel souvenir. Put it on a wall and the room takes a holiday. Painted walls feel sunnier, pale wood looks warmer, and any kitchen or hallway with too much beige finally has somewhere to look. It does the colour work without shouting. Works

the corners a bit warmer

It suits a bedroom

Skip it if the wall is already busy with shelves

Hang it and a quiet room gets a view

this garden bird brings the check

more deliberate

A neutral room gets a window onto somewhere warmer

The kitchen suddenly feels lived-in

or a dining sideboard where people gather

between two coat hooks

Avoid putting it next to another loud painting or a busy gallery wall — it works best as the main thing on the wall

and pairs well with pale oak
