Red Cup Painting Art PrintThink of it as Wayne Thiebaud with less reverence and better instincts. A simple cup of tea, painted with loose strokes on a hot red ground small subject, big confidence. It brings warmth and humour to a kitchen wall. The red wakes up cream cabinets and pale tile, and the brushy paint texture keeps it feeling handmade rather than slick. Hang it above a coffee machine, a breakfast nook bench, or a small console near the kettle. It also earns its keep

in a kitchen with dark cabinets

This exquisite piece brings an enchanting and bold statement to any room

linen and brass nearby feel like they belong to the same thought

or in a reading corner with one good lamp nearby

Avoid hanging it next to anything cluttered or competing patterns on the wall itself

oak and brass — anything warm and lived-in

and other busy patterned art on the same wall — it wants room to glow

sets a mood

Give it a bit of breathing room — this isn't a piece to crowd

Call it heritage if you want

and the whole space borrows a bit of that midday Mediterranean stillness

Keep the styling around it simple
