"Valkyrie" Original 20x30 Acrylic Painting by Kipsworld ArtThe Valkyrie, Sigrun facing off a viewer shy foe. An ice giant perhaps? At the end of her sword hilt is embedded an eye of a god. Is it Odin's? With her sword, she always strikes true as long as she always shows courage in battle.

14x18 Original Painting using acrylics on heavy paper

We debuted the original piece at Phoenix Comic-Con in 2012

One of Odin's ravens that fly across the nine realms

I only had this piece to myself about a week as I finished it just prior to Wondercon in 2014 where it sold on the first day

I have always been a fan of old-school Huntress and when my model friend Katrina Morgan offered to assist with this

The ref photo used is of Miss Mandy a Swedish fetish model

The background was airbrushed first

A Dungeons and Dragons-ish / Fantasy image of two adversaries as they square off

The Valkyrie

Then the landscape and finally foreground subject was completed with tradition brush methods

This piece is based on an original character Amber Brite props created named Rio Ca'Tal
