Description

Vanity Purr — Cream Tabby in Pearls Canvas PrintSomewhere between a Vogue cover and storybook portrait, this cream tabby refuses to behave. She's got pearls, lace, a butter yellow ribbon and a stare that says she knows exactly what she's doing. Drop her into a room and the mood shifts. A quiet bedroom suddenly has a bit of personality. A plain hallway gets a wink. She brings warmth without shouting those soft creams and the sage grey background do most of the heavy lifting. Best at eye level above

croissant — in deep navy on a warm cream ground

The red polka-dot scarf does the talking

Somewhere between folk block-printing and pared-back mid-century shapes

or a narrow hallway bench

neutral room and the whole space lifts — soft pink

a saucer of milk on the cushion

It pulls a Spanish summer into the room — yellow towers

rattan and the odd brass hook

the green and yellow keep it from feeling sweet

or at the head of a dining table

Skip the busy gallery wall — this one carries plenty on its own and doesn't want competition

Best on a wall that can hold a feature piece — above a sofa
