Description

Horus from the Egyptian Pantheon Art PrintTest it this way: if the study feels safe, size up. This is a 19th century plate of Horus, the falcon headed Egyptian god, redrawn in clean blue, deep red and warm cream on a soft off white background. It brings a quiet sense of curiosity to a room without taking it over the figure is graphic and contained, the colours are calm. Hang it above a writing desk, in a reading corner, or on a hallway wall where guests can pause. It pairs well with dark wood

umbrella and potted bay trees in the foreground

the warm terracotta and navy lift cream walls without turning the kitchen busy

so the room reads softer the longer you're in it

Avoid placing it next to loud florals or high-contrast graphic posters — they fight the quiet rhythm of the water and the distant mountain

Hang it and the wall stops being a wall

where it can hold a stretch of wall on its own

a touch more spring

hard to dislike

inviting mood—perfect for kitchens

it tells the living room you're serious

a slip of deep blue sea down the left edge

and dark woodwork starts to feel deliberate rather than heavy
