Cranes Over Waves Art PrintThere's a reason Japanese decorative painters kept returning to cranes over waves; rooms still respond. The motif is centuries old and it carries a quiet, hopeful feeling that doesn't go stale. Put it up and a flat wall starts to breathe. The soft sage backdrop reads almost like a painted plaster, the cranes give the eye somewhere to go, and the gold touched foliage warms the whole thing up. It hangs best above a sofa, a low sideboard, or a bed where
