Description

Seaside Escape Canvas PrintWe like seaside scenes best when they come with a little abrasion. This one keeps the holiday feeling but strips it back to flat blocks of coral, mustard and blue closer to a paper cut out than a postcard. Hang it and the room loosens up. A kitchen feels lighter, a hallway feels more lived in, a kid's bedroom gets a bit of personality without going cartoony. It earns its spot above a sideboard, on a narrow wall between windows, or in a sunny entryway

Give the kitchen feature wall one hard decision

Put it up and the room stops feeling like a kitchen and starts feeling like somewhere people pour drinks

and the room reads as taller and brighter without you moving anything else

Seen beside warm oak shelving

brass or aged wood furniture

novelty palm-tree posters or anything that pushes the holiday cue into theme-park territory

not where they sit in silence

at the end of a hallway or in a teen's room

breakfast a touch more forgiving

patterned piece — it wants room to breathe
