Page 4 Dacite Preforms, Flintknapping Slabs. (Copy)These Dacite and Black Butter Dacite preforms. The preforms are 5 16 to 3 8" thick and ready to knapp. Dacite isone of my favorite Obsidians.

Alibates is a Texas flint that was prized by ancient people

This is a modern Dalton type spear point / arrowhead that was knapped by yours truly from heat treated Edward's Plateau chert

Every load will very in size but its all nice material

In one of our recent buyouts there was several barrels of beautiful Dacite and Black Butter Dacite and we are making some of that available in both small and medium boxes

Bell and Calf Creek

These Ciastal Plains chert preforms will be availablein in very limited numbers

Shipps in a large flat rate box

The spalls are what I would consider clunkers but make no mistake its all nice material that works just as nice as my othere boxes and can yield lots of points 2"-4 inches

You can watch me knapping a piece of this material on video

These hand flakers and notching tools are available individually or as a set

As you probably know due to the rarity of good solid knappable stone and the fact that the main sorce is now a national park Alibates is one of more costly knapping materials but it's also one of the prettiest

One of my favorite point styles to use this tool with is the Cahokia
