Description

Lone Swimmer in Turquoise Stripes Canvas PrintBecause the illustrator knew restraint, the small red swimsuit hits harder here. One tiny figure, vast striped water, and the room slows down. Put it on a calm wall and the temperature seems to drop a degree a bathroom feels more like a hotel, a bedroom feels more like a holiday. It works above a bed, a console or a long bath, where the vertical pull of the stripes can do its job. Pair it with pale wood, white linen, soft cotton and a little brushed

Quiet walls suddenly look intentional

Somewhere between William Morris and English country toile

Stretched on a wooden frame with a soft matte surface that keeps the ink lines clean from across the room

syrup running down the sides

or polished gallery-style abstracts will make it feel out of place

This is a wonky

This one brings that spirit into a modern home with a soft off-white background

The mustard leaves warm everything around them

The smiley sun and little paper plane stop it feeling too serious

Portrait shape means it works on narrower walls between a window and a door

The canvas weave softens the brushwork and makes the colour feel more painterly up close

pale oak and ribbed linen
