Pasta La Vista Baby Canvas PrintSomewhere between Quentin Blake and modern hand drawn illustration, this typography refuses to behave. The lettering wobbles, the plate is sketched in one loose blue loop, and the whole thing reads like a joke pinned up by someone who actually cooks. Hang it where people gather to eat above a kitchen counter, beside the pasta jars, or in a dining nook where a bit of humour belongs. It softens a sharp modern kitchen and adds personality to plainer

Printed on thick fine-art paper with a subtle matte finish that keeps the brushwork looking like brushwork

Hang it where people sit and chat — above a sideboard in the living room

Brass or matte black fittings both look good with it

cane chairs and warm whites all sit happily next to it

Don't crowd it with other busy patterns or competing fruit prints — one checked cloth in the picture is plenty

the alpine cityscape turns from nice idea to main character

beside a bed in a calm bedroom

Suddenly the pink reads grown-up

Avoid hanging it against a busy wallpaper or alongside high-contrast graphic prints — the watercolour edges need a calmer wall to settle into

A bright travel poster of Copenhagen's flower stalls

a console or a long bath

your study can carry more deep green than it thinks
