Original Butter Canvas PrintWhen the kitchen feels over arranged, this kind of still life helps. Painted butter on creased paper sits against a bright blue ground, with bold yellow lettering doing the rest. It brings a wink of humour to a tidy worktop and lifts a quiet wall without shouting. Hang it above a breakfast nook, on a narrow gap between cabinets, or near the coffee corner where the eye lands first thing. It plays nicely with pale wood, white tiles, stone worktops and

a low bookcase or a reading chair — somewhere the pink shadows have space to land

and it sits especially well on chalky off-white or warm cream walls where the lilac sky has room to breathe

blue walls

Don't crowd it with other busy patterns — let the colour do the work

On canvas the matte surface softens the black silhouettes and lets the cream ground sit quietly on the wall

Don't sit it next to busy gallery walls of zodiac signs — it's already the loudest voice in the room

ready to bring warmth and charm to your kitchen

It reads as a recipe

Keep the rest of the wall calm — this one carries the moment on its own

Put it up and the room feels a touch more personal — playful without trying too hard
