Description

The Dandy Terrier Art PrintEven the walnut in here starts looking expensive next to that teal jacket. The little terrier in his bow tie and tiny gold specs brings instant warmth and humour to a room the sort of piece guests stop and grin at. Hang it in a study, snug or hallway where character is doing the heavy lifting: above a leather chair, on a dark painted wall, or beside a drinks trolley. Pairs beautifully with tan leather, brass lamps, tartan and warm woods. Avoid hanging

warm sand — so it plays nicely with walnut

Hang it above a console with a bowl for keys

this one wants room to breathe so the words land properly

the sea blue looks almost illegally fresh

Put it up and the kitchen feels a bit more like somewhere people actually cook

It pulls a smile out of anyone walking past the kettle

mid-tone wood frame keeps the painterly softness of the piece intact without sharpening it

When the study feels over-arranged

a tiny red-roofed house and stylised hills does quiet

Hang it where a room feels a bit too cool or too white — above a low bed

Hang it where people gather — above a kitchen bench

dressing table or low sideboard in a bedroom
