Description

Cheers in Colour Art PrintEven the terracotta tiles in here start looking expensive next to soft pink, mustard and orange. It brings a small, social spark into the room the kind of energy you usually only get when people are actually round. Hang it above a bar cart, a kitchen sideboard or a dining nook where a flat wall has been quietly waiting for a personality. It plays nicely with pale wood, brass fittings, linen seat pads and stoneware in earthy tones. Keep the wall around

Avoid hanging it next to other heavy graphic quotes — let this one do the talking

Hang it where you want energy: above a sofa

A modern figurative painting of two commuters on the tube

Pastel townhouses lean against a leafy tree and a pavement cafe — cheerful

or just above a low piece of furniture

It makes a kitchen feel lived-in rather than styled

the vertical card shape will do the editing

Don't crowd it with other patterned art

The pale wings sit dead-centre against a backdrop of warm browns

Hang it in a room you want to feel cocooning rather than bright: a sitting room with the lamps on

sage hills

or build a little travel set around it
