Description

Le Paysage - Wildflower Meadow Art PrintAt late afternoon, the loose brushwork turns from nice idea to main character. The wall stops being a backdrop and starts holding the colour conversation in the room. Deep green, navy, soft pink and mustard pull in the cushions, the cover of a book on the coffee table, the warm cream walls. Hang it in a living room or study, above a low sideboard, a writing desk or a reading chair, at eye level so the painterly marks read clearly. Pair with pale oak,

soft clay or warm plaster all work

a small console in the hallway

Buy seated portrait for the story

while the sage leaves and peach flowers add a gentle lift you'll notice every time you walk past

or in a hallway leading out to the shed

sage or pale grey walls

dining nook or breakfast bar gets a lift the second this goes up

Not enough sky blue

the red sofa

or next to a reading chair where you want something with a pulse

Don't crowd it with other novelty animals or busy patterns

Skip pairing it with heavy traditional oils
