Description

Strawberry Jam Morning Canvas PrintYou don't need more decor. You need one still life with teeth. Two slices of jammy toast, scattered strawberries, a hand drawn pink and blue gingham cloth it's cheeky, fresh and unafraid of colour. Put it on a kitchen wall above the kettle, in a breakfast nook beside the table, or in a little dining corner that needs a smile. It plays nicely with painted cabinets, pale oak shelves, ceramic mugs and a stripe or gingham tea towel. Don't bury it next to

mustard and a punch of red — painted with brushy energy rather than crisp geometry

or in a hallway that needs something cheerful at child eye-level

with the word Bauhaus and the year 1919 sitting quietly at the foot

It needs a little quiet around it

on a bare bit of wall by the fridge

It reads as friendly rather than provocative — closer to a doodle on a friend's wall than a statement piece shouting for attention

Somewhere between a holiday postcard and a loose travel sketch

Leave the bathroom wall blank if you like cautious rooms

Avoid stacking it with other busy patterns or bold portraits — one expressive piece per wall is plenty

vibrant hues

deep green and a flash of orange keep it from feeling sweet

Don't crowd it with other busy prints or pattern-on-pattern textiles — this one wants room to breathe
