Flowing Ink Botanica Canvas PrintAt late afternoon, the loose ink botanical turns from nice idea to main character. The brushwork settles the light, holds a quiet wall and gives a plain room something to look at without shouting. Hang it above a low sideboard, a writing desk or a bedside table where you can actually see the marks. It sits well with pale oak, walnut, off white plaster, linen upholstery and a little black metal. Pair it with stoneware, a paper shade and one quiet plant

Avoid hanging it next to busy florals or heavy gold-framed pieces — the grey-on-white needs breathing room

this print wants to be the loudest thing in the room

deep blue sea and a dark horse with a samurai rider into the room — a quiet story rather than a loud one

It pulls a room toward calm — fewer things on the desk

A single brass desk light nearby brings out the peach in the sky

Don't drown it next to other busy patterned art or strong primary-colour pieces — this one wants a calmer wall around it

Hang it where your morning actually happens: above the kettle

deep red or olive upholstery brings out the warmer notes

It also sits well near old books
