Description

Sunlit Siesta: Black Lab on Yellow Sofa Canvas PrintSeen beside warm oak, the sleeping Labrador loses nostalgia and gains grit. The brushwork is loose and confident, the yellow sofa unapologetic, and the black dog draws the eye without trying. Drop this into a living room and the room wakes up. The yellow does the heavy lifting, the coral cushion adds bounce, and the green leaves keep it from tipping into novelty. Warm and lived in, not cute. Works best above a sofa, a sideboard, or in a reading

Works equally well as a solo piece on a quiet wall

and a quiet room gains a focal point without going loud

a stair landing

perfect for a modern home

sandy cream and pops of coral and palm green bring an easy holiday warmth without going kitsch

What shifts when it goes up: a flat

The painting drops a small slice of city life onto your wall — a man scrolling on the train

or in a reading corner with a lamp nearby

not just a kids' one

The painterly washes feel quiet and modern rather than cute

Don't crowd it with busy florals or bright primary colours — the canvas texture already adds depth

a scatter of small figures in mustard
