Description

Good Neighbor Pictorial Map of South America Canvas PrintFirst glance: soft teal ocean. Second glance: the map doing something smarter dozens of tiny hand drawn icons telling a story across every country. Put it up and the room gets a quiet sense of travel: cities, animals, ships and landmarks all sit there ready to be read. It works above a desk, in a hallway, over a sideboard or in a kid's room where someone might actually trace the rivers. Pair it with oak or walnut, warm linen, leather, brass fittings

or a hallway that needs something other than another landscape

This one brings a famous blue wave

cream and soft blue walls flatter it

the walls feel a touch warmer

the abstract stops looking decorative and starts working

Sits at eye-level over furniture

On a warm afternoon

The pale pink sky and snowy ground bring a lift of colour without shouting

blond oak and a few terracotta pots

cream and tomato-red letters spell CAFÉ against a deep black ground

warm without going twee

so let neighbouring walls go plain
