Description

Tulip by William Morris Canvas PrintToo much beige. Not enough deep teal. This fixes that. Drop a Morris tulip repeat onto a plain wall and the room finds its centre the deep blue green pulls in any teal cushion, ceramic or painted door, while the warm cream backdrop keeps it from feeling heavy. Best hung at eye level above a console, sideboard or low chest of drawers in a hallway, study or dining room. Pair with walnut or dark oak, brass fittings, linen lampshades and a stoneware vase

Keep busy patterned wallpaper and competing florals away — this piece wants a calmer wall to do its work

An oak or black frame holds it together best

cream and warm stone

hallways stop feeling like corridors

The greens pull in any houseplants you've already got

it effortlessly complements both modern and vintage decor

Walls that felt blank suddenly have weight

figurative tension in the right places

Hang it where people stand and wait — a nursery

Youll love how this artwork adds depth and personality to your walls

It works best near pale wood

The wrapped canvas adds a soft texture that flatters the loose oil brushwork
