Palm Springs Pool House Art PrintLeave the feature wall blank if you like cautious rooms. This print drops a clear sky afternoon turquoise pool, orange roofline, palms straight into the space, and the room stops being polite. What changes is the temperature. Warm walls suddenly read sun warmed. Tan leather and teak look like they belong on a patio. The blue of the pool keeps things from going too hot. Hang it where people sit and stay a while: above a low sofa, behind a dining table,

cream and warm beige

butter-yellow — packed into a vertical wall of colour

This vintage-style flower market poster from Bologna brings three patchwork panels of bold botanical pattern

Best on a chalky off-white or pale plaster wall where the pinks can sing without competition

and the small strip of natural brown stops the whole thing feeling cold

study or dining room — anywhere you can stand back a metre or two and take it in

centre roughly 145cm from floor

Hang it in a home cinema

or behind a sofa in a bright living room

or against warm off-white plaster where the dark ground becomes the contrast

A scene like this gives a living room a story to sit in — soft pink walls

a hallway that gets a bit of morning light
