Sunny City Street Cut-Out Art PrintSome cityscape prints match a room. This one resets its pecking order. The colour does the talking sky blue, deep green road, mustard, soft red and pink buildings cut into flat shapes like paper. There is no half way with it. A quiet wall stops being quiet. Bare cream or off white walls give it the most room to land, and the green road pulls the eye straight down the middle, which keeps the rest of the room from getting cluttered. It earns its keep in

Framed in oak or black wood

or above a slim console

or a leather armchair in a living room or study — anywhere you already lean into warm wood and softer lighting

or a slim console near the front door

terracotta pots and a stoneware lamp

Painted walls in soft sage or warm off-white sit behind it beautifully

Give it breathing room either side

A soft wool throw in rust or cream picks up the palette without copying it

Don't drown it in other novelty prints — one witty character per wall is plenty

The blue sky opens up the space

and olive oil

A quiet hallway picks up a focal point
