Description

Plate 29 by Ogino Issui Canvas PrintGive the feature wall one hard decision, and let everything else relax. Plate 29 by Ogino Issui is a calm Japanese botanical study in soft olive green with cream vines, a small moth and a hint of dusty pink. It pulls a room down half a notch the wall stops shouting and the furniture starts to read. Best above a low console, a writing desk or at the head of a bed, in a room with warm timber and natural fabrics. Hang at eye level on a chalky off white

Hang it where you want the eye to land first

Skip anything loud right next to it — bright graphic prints will drown out the soft tones

Avoid stacking it next to other busy travel scenes — it wants room to breathe

Don't bury it behind clutter or fight it with another loud pattern on the wall behind — let the orange do the work

Citrus-yellow ceramics and pale woods love it

It pulls a quiet wall straight into evening

studies and family snugs where you want a bit of escape on the wall

or hallway near the fridge

bright pop graphics or cool blue-grey schemes — the piece has its own quiet drama and prefers a calm

a brass lamp and a soft wool throw

Skip anything too earnest — no heavy gold frames

It plays well with painted wood
