Just the right amount of contrast

Anything that lets the orange and teal do the talking

It works best in studies

the colours echo the floor and the chair without trying

Don't put it next to dense pattern or busy tile — the watercolour edge needs a calm wall to read properly

with blocks of bright blue

three becomes a theme park

so it settles in fast

Don't crowd it with hard graphic prints or anything cold and grey
