Description

Lake Biwa Snowfall by Hiroshige Canvas PrintThis isn't wall filler. It's soft blue with a point of view. The scene is a Japanese landscape a snowy shore opening onto a wide lake, with dusty pink and purple clouds at the top and pale mountains in the distance. Hang it in a calm bedroom or study and the room feels quieter, cooler and more considered. Works above a low bed, a writing desk or a slim console. Pairs well with pale wood, off white linen, stoneware and paper lampshades. Don't crowd it

Keep it solo or pair it with one other piece of plain typography for a confident little wall moment

the vertical bouquet reads clean

stone counters and leather bar stools

where you want one cheerful thing to greet you

and works well in a hallway where you want something to stop you

Hang it and the room slows down a touch

the heavy dark wood

not above it

so it works both ways

The rich reds and greens will effortlessly complement your decor

set against a deep navy that does most of the heavy lifting

Framed in a fine-art print
