Winter in Kragerø by Munch Art PrintBuy a winter landscape for the story. Keep it for the deep green and soft off white snow. Painted by Edvard Munch in 1912 from his garden at Krager, it's the quieter, calmer side of him that most people don't know. On the wall, the room slows down. The dark green pine and rusty trunk give a still room a single warm focal point, while the snowy blues and creams settle everything else around them. Best hung at eye level above a sideboard, low console or

no second statement piece competing on the same wall

The mix of orange

charming enough for a grown-up hallway

four twirls

Hang it in a bedroom above a low chest

or a country-leaning bedroom

blush ceramics and brushed brass

soft lamps and a bit of texture

above a bench in the hall

and the warm sand yellow pulls heat into cooler corners

so the bedroom feels considered without trying too hard

so a small entryway suddenly feels like it opens onto somewhere bigger and brighter
