Description

The Milkmaid by Johannes Vermeer Art PrintPut bluntly, your kitchen can carry more deep blue than it thinks. This is a faithful reproduction of one of the most famous paintings in Western art, and it does the heavy lifting in a quiet room. Put it up and the walls feel older and more considered. The mustard yellow warms a cool room. The deep blue grounds it. The off white background keeps everything from getting heavy. It sits well above a sideboard, on a kitchen feature wall, or in a study
