Sunlit Hillside Vista Art PrintBack in the 1960s, this kind of painted hillside view belonged to another kind of home a sunlit holiday house with the shutters thrown open. It brings that same warmth indoors. A quiet room wakes up: the orange grounds the wall, the deep teal water cools things down, and the tall palms add a bit of holiday confidence. Hang it above a sideboard, a console, or a bed where the colour can sit centre stage. It works with rattan, warm timber and stoneware,

First glance: deep blue domes

oak softens it without losing the punch

Avoid pairing with high-gloss modern furniture or cool grey schemes — the warmth of the paper and the historic palette wants softer

It also sits well near old books

What to put around it: pale oak

On canvas the brushwork feels closer to a real painting
