Description

Seated in Style Art PrintNothing in this warm pink and sage palette whispers, even when the living room does. The figure sits with a quiet confidence, and the room takes the cue. Walls feel warmer. Sofas look more considered. The whole space leans into a slower, more thoughtful mood. Hangs well at eye level above a console, a low sideboard or a reading chair. Pair with linen upholstery, oak or walnut timber, stoneware lamps and a soft wool rug. Avoid placing it beside loud

Give it a wall it can own — this isn't a piece for a tight corner

Skip pastel florals or busy gallery walls beside it — this one needs room to talk

and the small blue rim around the bowl ties in nicely with crockery and tea towels

It earns its keep above a study desk

Skip anything that competes — busy patterned wallpaper

Don't crowd it with other busy posters or competing typography — this one wants to be the thing you notice first

linen tea towels and a stoneware jug or two

This piece carries that same easy energy into a modern room

even the colour of your kitchen tiles

a hallway with hooks for little coats

anything warm nearby

Here's the trick: let the hard-edged blocks cut through all that plaster
