Description

Quiet Cat in Pale Tones Canvas PrintLeave the feature wall blank if you like cautious rooms. This painterly cat sits quietly in cream, ginger and pale sage, the kind of piece that warms a corner without raising its voice. Hang it where you slow down above a bedside table, at the end of a hallway, or over a small reading chair. It pairs with linen, soft wool, pale oak and stoneware in clay and cream. Skip it next to anything loud or graphic; this one wants air around it and a quiet wall

Don't crowd it with other heavy floral patterns on the same wall — let it be the pattern in the room

The deep green leaves keep the orange grounded

the dark background gives the wall weight

The black centres of the records anchor everything else

It sits well next to oak

and with soft greens or warm browns in the rest of the room

Avoid bright primary colours and shiny chrome nearby — they pull against the soft

Skiers and travel lovers tend to love it

and looks calmer than you'd expect against off-white plaster walls
