This Audubon falcon study brings quiet

off-white or chalky pale walls

a bench or a slim console

This Klimt-inspired forest reads as a wall of vertical trunks dotted with spirals

A black or oak frame keeps the typewriter character honest

and the butterfly gives the eye a single warm focal point in brown and cream

A loose-line cityscape of the Venice waterfront — domes

Don't crowd it with other busy travel prints — one strong city view is the whole point

Best in spots that can take a hit of colour without going chaotic — a downstairs loo

one wide stretch of water

and it plays nicely with cream walls

The meadow does the heavy lifting — daisies
