Description

Sunlit Desert Escape Art PrintAfter the warm afternoon light shifts, the living room suddenly has a pulse. Strong blocks of sky blue, soft pink and warm orange push a flat wall forward and give a tired corner real personality. Hang it above a sideboard, a low bench or a reading chair where you want a quick lift of colour. It sits well with cane, pale oak, linen in cream and oat, and a terracotta planter or two. Skip very heavy traditional furniture and dark gallery walls beside it

with yellow cabs running toward the Empire State Building between deep blue and coral-warm towers

brushy water and a single calm figure floating in it

A dining wall stops being polite and starts having a personality

and the room stops feeling polite

Works best on a kitchen feature wall

Best on a feature wall in a living room

Best on a chalky off-white or soft cream wall

with a calm line of type at the foot

Stoneware and cream ceramics finish it off

the soft colour shifts and brush marks read clearly

and the CORNWALL band anchors the whole thing

so the rest of the kitchen can stay pared back
