Coral Trainers on Lime Art PrintRooms go quieter when lime green is this sure of itself. A flat, graphic take on a pair of coral running trainers, laces tangled across the page like a small dare. The orange red against the acid green does the heavy lifting colour you feel before you read. Hang it where a room needs lifting: a home gym, a teen bedroom, a hallway, or above a workspace that has gone a bit too sensible. It works on white, stone, soft grey or warm cream walls. Pair with

or in a small bathroom where the blue can breathe

and a linen runner

and the room picks up a relaxed bar feel without trying too hard

So do soft sage or warm off-whites

chest-deep in the pond

and the small red heart does most of the work

pale oak or walnut

A repeating run of retro Admit One tickets in soft pink and deep red sets a clear

It's the lead

Skip a second statement piece on the same wall

and starts feeling like somewhere people eat slowly

this one wants to be the quiet character in the room
