Description

Morris Inspired Centenary Poster Art PrintHere's the trick: let the paired birds cut through all that walnut. Drop this above a writing desk or hallway console and the rust ground warms the whole wall, while the cream typography and small dove pull the eye to one calm centre. Hang at eye level on a chalky off white, clay or deep green wall anything too cool fights the warmth. Pair with aged leather, linen, dark wood and brass; a single pottery lamp does more than three small accessories.

A quiet wall suddenly feels like somewhere people gather

or anchoring a tall hallway wall

The watercolour mastiff

A handful of olive-toned greens nearby will pull the whole thing together

This wants light

Hang it where the wall feels flat or the colour palette has gone a bit too safe: above a sideboard in a hallway

and the soft blue keeps it from tipping over into too much

or in a hallway that needs more personality than another mirror

Heritage greens and plaster pink walls flatter it

Hang it where you want a bit of energy without going full maximalist: above a writing desk

dusty blue and cream

warm white or a chalky sage all work
