Description

Shinjuku Gyoen Garden, Tokyo Canvas PrintYou don't need more decor. You need one watercolour garden scene with teeth. This Shinjuku Gyoen print pulls warm orange autumn leaves, deep green pines and a red bridge into one composed travel poster layout. Drop it into a quiet hallway or study and the room gets a season. The cream background keeps things calm; the orange does the talking. Walls in off white, soft beige or pale plaster all work. Hang it at eye level above a console, a low bookshelf

Eye level is the right call

or above a bed where you want one strong image instead of a busy cluster

or above a small writing desk in a study

play it small and the colour pops sit quietly between cabinets and shelves

wake living room

not a glossy postcard

drawn against a soft blue-grey wash

Avoid hanging it next to anything loud — bold abstracts

and one warm metal — brass or bronze

a low lamp

since you'll read it as much as look at it

and a face appears — calm
