Description

DAYBREAK by Jon Crane -- Fine Art WatercolorTwenty miles east of Hannibal, Missouri, near Barry, Illinois . This is the front porch of Jons Heartland farm caught at sunrise. This scene was inspired by the same visit to the farm as Heartland Spring

Saddle Lake in Hoosier Nat'l Forest

“Autumn Melody” was inspired by the brilliant colors of fall in New York state

Very often Jon will be off searching the countryside before the sun is up

which includes "Snowy Sanctuary"

In January of 1989 Jon embarked on a winter trip that would take him from South Dakota to the East Coast without ever setting his wheels on an Interstate Highway

and there are probably more to come

If you like wide open spaces

A favorite camping site of Jon and Gail Crane's that warrants its name

When painting “Chores Can Wait”

and loved hot chocolate then as much as he does today

Jon painted this original as reward to Betsy (owner of the Moonshine) for quitting smoking for a year
