Description

Zedist Women With Fan | Open Edition PrintPainted live on the dance floor at Love Machine Festival. My body builder friend Brianna did the modeling. The vibrating fan doubles as a star giving off wave patterns that connects to the heart which resonates love and protection. Set against a desert landscape and blue sky she is at once striking a pose and contemplating her existence among the stars.

and working

I've been a lifelong Bowie fan

The sun is shining on her lower left glute

is one in a two-part attempt to overlap a plants leaf and petal geometry with Zedist tessellations

The proportions and size

The pump that fuels our cells and organs

Different centers of gravity

contrast with the shimmering blues of the water

There is a celebration on the atomic level with all kinds of important chain reactions and electrical currents put into motion

How can males believe they are the dominant gender when all of our energy is spent trying to attract and please the caretaker of one of these

This piece also reckons back to my material science roots with the incorporation of well defined slip planes between different phases (in the case red and tan colors) of matter

like sun baked mud or dried flower petals
