Description

Rieussec Sauternes 2015 750ml

48% ABV) “Nice brown color with gold and orange tints

controlled low temperature

and it feels a little lighter

There is good acidity all the way though and a pleasant food friendly style

A whisky that layers peaty and smoky elements

Enjoy it neat

failing that

thanks to this aromatic complexity and thanks to the velvety tannins

35% Alc/Vol

Etienne Daulny owns 15 hectares of vines that are divided into about 50 different plots within the Sancerre wine region

Leaner and much more restrained in style than others: the drier style of Dow works really well in ripe years such as 2016 (as it did in 2011)

but not excessively so
