Description

Merlet Creme de Fraise (Strawberry) Liqueur 700ml (ABV 18%)Merlet's crme de Fraise combines two varieties of the fruit (Wild Strawberry and Mara) that complement each other and bring richness and complexity. Tasting notes Rich aromas of strawberries, a touch of watermelon and mint. A full bodied palate, sweet, generous and fruity as possible, with a tangy finish of strawberry jam and honey.

Palate - A medley of luscious

Palate - Oak with spice moving into burnt caramel and raisins

this spirit is not technically rum by Australian law

Carefully selected malt & grain are used

Finish - Warm and light

Matured in older French oak barrels for 20 months

then cask finished in Napa Valley French Oak wine barrels for outstanding smoothness and complexity

barley sugar and raisin toast

If you've enjoyed the Knappogue Castle 12 Year Old but felt like it could do with a good helping of fruit notes at its core

caramel sauce and honey
