Description

Double Diamond (Schrader) 2023 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa ValleyNew release from Schrader Cellars, Napa's most sought after producer. The Double Diamond 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon stands to outshine the award winning 2019 (Wine Spectator's #1 Wine of the Year) vintage with even deeper concentration and complexity. On the nose, the wine leaps from the glass with ripe blackberry, cassis, black cherry, and red plum, with a lovely herbaceous undertone. The palate expresses juicy red and black fruits with hints of black

“So good

98 Points Vinous: "The Mayacamas 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Top Block is one of the small single-block bottlings Mayacamas has begun to offer in recent years

One hundred percent new French oak isn’t at all heavy

balanced acidity and underlying notes of fleshy grapefruit and lime zest please the palate

brains and depth of character

95 Points Robert Parker: "The Epoch 2021 Estate Blend comes mostly from the Paderewski Vineyard

This report looks at the 2018s and 2019s

as the extra acidity might give it a longer life than expected

92 Points James Suckling: "Lots of black currant and blackberry aromas with hints of wet earth and spice cake

96 Points Robert Parker: "The pinnacle of the range at Barnett Cabernet Sauvignon Rattlesnake Estate Bottled

nicely concentrated

Black raspberry and black cherry aromas are complemented with hints of cedar
