Description

North by NorthwestThe end of the road in the coastal rural community of Tofino, British Columbia. Captured during my very first helicopter ride, with the doors off.

Maks Eidelson dove deep into Marcus Paladino's extensive catalog of over a decade's worth of surf imagery

Waves from above always hit differently

This was the first time I met Pete Devries (circa 2012)

Shooting so many pictures often leads to hidden gems

but the shore pound kept me entertained

Came across an active burn pile

and it becomes a true challenge

and mysterious story of what it feels like to be a surfer in cold waters

Taking off and setting up for what I hope will be the wave of the day for Andy Jones in the Pacific Northwest

Shot years ago from a floatplane with Reed Platenius

morning light

Andy Jones and I were shooting together
