Description

Whimsical Hand Embroidered Cotton DressThis delightful dress is made of airy white cotton and has the most marvelous embroidery of colorful shapes and creatures. I'm not sure of its age or provenance but my best guess is late 80s to 90s and possibly Mexican. It has five buttons on the front of the bodice and a sewn in sash that can be tied round the front or back. It's in excellent condition with the exception of a tiny hole in the skirt and I'm pretty sure there's a faint stain somewhere

and the shoulders and the front of the waist are delicately shirred

Made of a lightweight wool

The dagger has a hole which latches onto a hook inside the sheath

two hooks to close at the top and a ribbon to tie around under the breast
