Vintage Moldovan Kilim 255x138 cm Kelim Wool Rug LargeVintage Turkish Moldovan Kilim 1960s Vintage Moldovan Kilim , very pretty with red roses. Usually woven by the migrant weavers from Balkans, these are also known as Gocmen, migrant, kilims in Turkey. There may be small blemishes and old repairs present, those are not considered as faults. There is a discolouration to the fringes and couple of tiny repairs present. Please study photos carefully. Cleaned and dusted fully for you to enjoy from the moment

it is woven on a heavy duty kilim base then decorated with tribal motifs using naturally dyed wools with a gigim technique

Woven near the mountains of Shiraz in the early 1970s this is a really nice kilim in good condition for its age

As with all rugs of this age it has some old repairs

Please note this is a premium handmade rug and not one of those Indian or Chinese machine made copies made cheaply with manmade fibres

Deep reds browns and gorgeous blues bring this lovely kilim to life
