Description

2012 Paul Jaboulet Aine La Chapelle Hermitage [JD97][WA97][JS93]Producer: Paul Jaboulet Aine Region: Hermitage, Rhone, France Varietal: Syrah Year: 2012 Jeb Dunnuck, 97 Points "The 2012 Hermitage La Chapelle is a step up over the 2011 and brings more density, depth, and opulence. Giving up a stunning bouquet of black currants, wood smoke, cured meats, and soy sauce, it hits the palate with full bodied richness, a round, seamless, sexy mouthfeel, velvety tannins, and a great, great finish. There's a touch of the

mushroom and a saline lift

in plots adjacent to our Finca La Pedriza estate

round and soft with silky bubbles and a tasty finish

black olives and charcoal flavors in firm tannins and will certainly improve and expand with time

Old Wente from both the Red Car Estate and Mohrhardt Ridge is pressed delicately and fermented in primarily neutral Oak

"Once you taste a few of a producer's wines side by side

The high corn content lends a smooth and slightly sweet base

Varietal: Pecorino

The fruitiness is balanced with a touch of mouthwatering acidity and plenty of verve

Chewy and lightly austere in the finish

" Finish: "Savory and dry finish with oaky notes

This is a monumental effort
