Description

Victorian Revival Mixed Media Holiday Ornament - Gold / Blue AngelUsing a copy of an Antique Victorian die cut in my collection as the face of my creation, here's a holiday Christmas ornament I put together. With a body made of chenille, my angel sports a muff of baby blue, has wings of gold Dresden paper and carries a gold bottle brush tree. Height is 4 1 2"; width is 2 1 2". Gold cord at the back for hanging on a Christmas tree feather tree. Very lightweight and currently the only one of its kind!

Dating anywhere from the early 1900s to late 1920s

Use in a new project or frame as it is

Found as you see with the center crinoline still intact

The addition of the sparkle makes for a stiffer ornament - something that can not be posed

here's an American made honeycomb Valentine depicting a pair of puppies dancing to a record

Length is 1-5/8"

But this happy fellow was Made in Occupied Japan and because of the difference in colors

Absolutely adorable

Size of the card alone is 4" x 6" - about post card sized

I think but it could be something else

the box measures 4-5/16" long x 2-5/16" wide x 2-5/16" high
