Description

Reeve Libertine No. 9 Proprietary Red BlendProducer: Reeve Wines Region: Sonoma County, California Blend: Red Blend Year: Non Vintage Winemaker Notes: "Utilizing Sonoma County vineyards that are separated by no more than 30 miles, we created Libertine fusing Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. It takes its inspiration from some of the great Super Tuscan wines." Alcohol: 13. 7% *Price and availability in store may vary. Vintage date may differ from pictured.

Its finish is best described as medium length

a fragrant skein of dried sage and milled white pepper and rich hints of smoke and toast

5% alcohol and were fermented in small oak vats followed by malolactic in concrete and two years in barrel

and definitely softer compared to the 2019 vintage before it

kerosine and orange sherbet on the nose

superb soil signature

"The Kimmeridgian chalk and limestone soils provide a helping hand in retaining freshness

Blend: Syrah

They have joked that the 2021 is almost like a “demi-glace” of Evangelho

if perhaps a bit less seriousness than the other bottling

lovely soil tones and a nice topnote of savory elements that recall things like celery seed

This Cabernet Sauvignon is elegant on the palate
