Description

63cm Ochiba (Yamazaki) REF - OC21Adam's Breeder Notes: Hand selected by me in Japan on my 2023 trip. Great contrast between the base grey colour and the brown pattern. Broad head and body suggests good future growth potential. High quality skin wraps around the scales presenting a 3D effect, which is called Fukurin. At the end of every season we review our Japanese Hand Picked Broodstock and decide which we will breed from next year and which we will move on to make space for

Attractive Aragoke scales across the side of the koi

Attractive open pattern with the red colour providing highlights through the length of the koi

Very rare pattern style on a showa

We'd expect more sumi to develop across the back of the koi over the next few years

and include the following varieties:

and also a 'V' shaped menware developing at the back of the head which is very desirable

Adam's Breeders Notes: Imposing beni (red) pattern

Lovely shine and clean bright platinum skin

imposing tosai

Rich in pure-cultured Spirulina and Zeazanthin

Rich beni colour

They also produce a range of other koi varieties and I understand their showa line is one of their newer lines
