Early Navajo Ring with Cerrillos TurquoiseSilver and Turquoise Circa 1920s or 30s Size 6. 5 Face measures 3 4" by 1 2" Unsigned, as is common with these old pieces. Coin or higher in silver content. Immediately upon seeing this ring you notice the geometric design and careful layout. Present are six beautiful green Cerrillos turquoise with silver raindrops between them. The raindrops vary in size, with the two in the middle being the largest. The construction is robust, as you can see with

but the very high quality workmanship seen in this example puts this at a slightly later date

and many others

The split shank is hand stamped with a "V" pattern and shows some honest

which are unseen when the vase is upright

which happened in the making

and in a very sumptuous decor that's finely executed

The core of the vase is lattimo glass and it is cased in colored glass

The core glass is opalescent white over which a green wash was applied to the surface
